John Coull, Fire & Explosion Investigator, CFEI, CFII is the manager of the Mississauga Branch of Origin and Cause. Accepted as an expert witness in criminal and civil courts, as well as at coroner's inquests, he specializes in structural fires and explosions. During the course of his career he has conducted more than 3,000 post-fire and explosion investigations. John's professional experience includes 18 years with the Toronto Police Force and eight with the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office.

Brian James, Forensic Engineer, P.Eng., CFEI, CVFI is a qualified court expert and specializes in vehicle, truck and heavy equipment fires, mechanical failures and product liability. Prior to working in forensic engineering consulting, Brian worked in the manufacturing industry performing design engineering and project management on an international level.

Adam Lohonyai, Forensic Engineer, MEng, EIT specializes in structural forensic investigation and holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Alberta. Adam's background includes work as a structural engineer providing consulting services for new building construction, personal fall arrest systems, roll-over protection systems, structural assessments, repairs, and failure investigations. He also has experience teaching engineering labs and researching building envelopes, structural health monitoring, and masonry walls at the University of Alberta.
