Origin Consulting, LLC. Completes the First North America Production Implementation of Oracle Utilities Customer Self Service at Green Mountain Power

BELLSOUTH, GA--(Marketwired - April 30, 2013) - Atlanta-based Origin Consulting, LLC (Origin) and Green Mountain Power (GMP) announced today that they have completed the first production implementation of Oracle Utilities Customer Self Service (OUCSS) application in North America. The first phase of this successful rollout included functionality available in GMP's legacy web site, with the addition of interval data presentment to customers that have GMP Smart Power meters. The implementation went into production virtually seamlessly, enabling a smooth transition for customers to the new web site. GMP's customer service representatives are redirecting their customers to the website where they have 24/7 access to the latest usage, billing, and other account information. GMP will continue to leverage OUCSS to provide their customers more information and functionality through the self-service channel.

Oracle Utilities Customer Self Service offers an attractive alternative to custom solutions. This offering is a unified portal platform that is pre-integrated with Oracle Utilities applications, including Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing, Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management, and Oracle Utilities Network Management System. The solution is also designed to accommodate data from legacy and non-Oracle products, using Web Services.
