LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - November 19, 2013) -
Orion Network Solutions, a full service IT partner specializing in network administration, IT systems design, web development and graphic design for both federal and private sector clients, recently moved to The Rob Roy inNEVation Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Orion Network Solutions' client-base includes the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. The company is actively growing its government contracts and expanding its private sector business.
"The inNEVation Center offers an ideal environment for my company and allows me to focus solely on growing my business from Las Vegas," said Tim McCalmant, CEO of Orion Network Solutions. "They provide an incredible space to set up shop, with all the amenities that I otherwise would not have access to."
Orion Network Systems was founded in 1998 in Louisville, Kentucky. McCalmant relocated the company to Las Vegas in September 2012, and earlier this year moved his core team to The inNEVation Center. The company plans to leverage their years of experience servicing federal clients as it shifts its focus to startups and small businesses in need of a reliable, skilled and dedicated IT partner.
The company will continue to support large-scale projects from The inNEVation Center, including the National Weather Service Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service (AHPS) and the West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Flood Warning System. AHPS has been part of Orion Network Solution's federal portfolio for over ten years and has enabled government agencies, private institutions and individuals to make better-informed decisions around river flooding and precipitation. Orion Network Solutions developed and currently supports the AHPS web frontend and backend data processing and created the interactive user interface.
"Las Vegas is where I plan to expand my team," said McCalmant. "With the support and resources provided by The inNEVation Center, we are in a position to tap into new business opportunities and rapidly grow our private sector client base."
The inNEVation Center is a philanthropic effort by Switch and its CEO and Founder Rob Roy to support economic diversification in Nevada.
