Orko Gold Hits 1.36 Kg Silver Intersection at La Preciosa

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 14, 2005) - Orko Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:OK) -

High Grade Veins Further Defined; Drill Contract Increased to 10,000 Metres

Orko Gold Corp., ("Orko" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce that it has received assay results from holes 2, 3 and 4 of a 13 hole, 5000m diamond drill program on its La Preciosa property currently under option from Luismin, a subsidiary of Goldcorp in Durango, Mexico. High grade mineralization was encountered in each of the La Gloria, Abundancia and Luz Elena quartz veins. The highest grade silver assay the Company received was 1,361.6 g/t Ag (1.36 kg/t) over a true width of 1.19 metres.

The Company is most excited by results from holes BP05-03 and BP05-04 listed below:

Hole BP05-02 fell between ore shoots, yet returned anomalous gold and silver values in each of the three veins.

Gary Cope, President of Orko Gold, says: "Orko geologists, as well as Orko management, are very excited by these recent assay results from La Preciosa drilling. Our geologic model has been further outlined and the high grade results have exceeded our expectations. We now have a strike length of over 550 metres trending northward which remains open. We are intrigued by the presence of elevated lead and zinc values found with the high grade silver and gold values. As well, we are interested by the fact that mineralization of 253.3 g/t Ag over 1.04 metres and 235.4 g/t silver over 0.55 metres was intersected in smaller veinlets not previously encountered in prior drilling. We hope to locate the source of this mineralization at depth in the near future."

The Gloria and Abundancia veins consist of quartz veins, druzy quartz, and brecciated quartz in an altered, silicified volcanic unit with associated galena and argentite and occasional sphalerite. The Luz Elena consists of a small manganese altered quartz vein hosted at the contact between meta-sediments and meta-volcanics and although it is not a wide vein its detection is important in locating the structure, which elsewhere has yielded appreciable grades and thickening.

The Company is also pleased to announce it has signed an extension of the previously announced drill contract with Major Drilling Group International Inc. for a further 5,000 metres of drilling aimed to intersect further mineralization at La Preciosa. Company geologists are now drilling the eleventh hole of the current program.

George Cavey P.Geo., Company director, is a Qualified Person and takes responsibility for the technical disclosure in this news release. The samples are prepared in Durango by SGS Laboratories and shipped to the SGS laboratory in Toronto for analysis. The Company maintains a diligent QC/QA program using prepared standards.
