ORLive Highlights Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Surgical Broadcasting Website Goes PINK During October

WEST HARTFORD, CT--(Marketwire - Oct 3, 2011) - BroadcastMed, Inc.'s surgical web portal is proud to put the spotlight on Breast Cancer Awareness Month during the month of October. ORLive is featuring special surgical video programming related to breast cancer, as well as CME (continuing medical education) programs. Content featured is being provided by valuable partnerships with NewYork-Presbyterian, the National Library of Medicine, Sisters Network®, Inc., Continuum Health Partners, and Synovis® Surgical Innovations.

"This was a chance to step it up and highlight content focused on breast cancer information," said Peter Gailey, President of BroadcastMed. "So we gathered various pieces and built a whole video channel around this important health topic." In addition to the special video channel, the team from BroadcastMed also built an interactive Facebook page promoting the month.
