ORMI Appoints Director of Biogas Development

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 22, 2011) - Organic Resource Management Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ORI) ("ORMI" or "the Company"), is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Sandra Mooibroek to the position of Director of Biogas Development.

Dr. Mooibroek will be a key member of the ORMI team developing best anaerobic digestion ("AD") operational practices, feedstock preparation technologies as well as ongoing activities that support the Company's growth initiatives across North America. She will be responsible for analysis of biogas performance from our partner ADs and investigation of new technologies in order to optimize the storing, blending and delivery of organic waste feedstocks. She will also establish and manage an important R&D program to improve digester feedstock product quality and consistency at all ORMI facilities.

Dr. Mooibroek has a strong background in gas, liquid and solid state chemical analysis and analytical technologies and has proven skills in chemical reaction process development. Her strong project management experience was augmented most recently as Senior Staff Scientist with ARISE Technologies Corporation where she established an R&D program and pilot scale facility. Sandra holds a BSc from the University of Winnipeg and obtained a PhD in physical chemistry at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
