ORTHOsoft Launches its Navitrack® Sesamoid™
Navigation System at the Annual Convention of the
American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 1, 2005) -

Next-generation technology represents savings of 33% in CAS platform cost

ORTHOsoft Holdings Inc. (TSX VENTURE:OSH) announces the launch of its
next-generation Navitrack® Sesamoid™ Navigation System at the
annual convention of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons held
on February 23-27, 2005, in Washington, D.C. This new, compact
Computer-Assisted Surgery (CAS) system represents the latest and most
economical of its kind on the market. Its ease of use and adaptability
to the physical demands of an operating room make it a leading-edge
technology that will be a compelling choice for hospitals.

The Navitrack Sesamoid system represents a large step forward in CAS
platform design. The Sesamoid is so compact that a surgeon can literally
pack it up and carry it from one hospital or operating room to another.
It is also much simpler to use than previous generations of CAS
technology. ORTHOsoft's advanced technology is designed to
significantly reduce implant misalignment, one of the most common causes
for joint replacement failure.

"In addition to the added ease of use and mobility that it brings the
orthopedic surgeon, the Navitrack Sesamoid also represents a more
economic choice for hospitals," said Yvan Beaudoin, Vice-President Sales
and Marketing for ORTHOsoft. "The Sesamoid offers a significant cost
saving over current CAS platforms. Many of our clients report savings
of up to a third of what they previously invested in CAS technology."

The fully functional integrated computer, camera system and monitor that
make up the Navitrack Sesamoid weigh less than half the total system
without the stand. The quality and functionality of its design are
evident at every point of interaction. From the single power switch to
the streamlined log-on and interfaces, the Navitrack Sesamoid is
designed to reduce the complication of computer-assisted surgery and
allow the surgeon to focus on the surgery.
