During the hour-long session, fans and media around the world can submit written questions directly to Rahal, Newgarden and Sato in any one of Ortsbo's 53 languages. Participants can follow along with the answers in their native language. The questions and answers will be translated live into the subtitled display in the language of the viewer's choice using Ortsbo's instant, live subtitling technology.
Rahal, the son of 1986 Indy 500 winner Bobby Rahal, holds the distinction of being the youngest driver to win an IZOD IndyCar Series race, accomplishing the feat when he won his IZOD IndyCar Series debut in 2008 in St. Petersburg. He communicates with his fans regularly via multiple social media platforms and welcomes this opportunity to talk about his love of cars, racing, and his Graham Rahal Foundation.
One of three rookies on the IZOD IndyCar Series this year, Newgarden was the 2011 Firestone Indy Lights champion and drives for Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing. He'll talk about his first year driving alongside some of the IZOD IndyCar Series' greats and give fans a look into his compelling personality.
Sato has had a notable 2012 season. He has aggressively pursued his first IndyCar victory all year, most notably at the Indianapolis 500 where he attempted a bold last lap pass, which ended with him hitting the wall. To date, he has captured two podium finishes, including a career-high second place showing in Edmonton. He'll give some insight into his performance this year as well as his work for his "With You Japan" campaign.
