Orvana Minerals Corp.: Work Stoppages Ends at Orvana's Don Mario Mine

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - July 7, 2005) - Orvana Minerals Corp. (TSX:ORV)("Orvana" or the "Company") announces that the unionized work force at its Don Mario gold mine in Bolivia has returned to work. Mine management and the union representing mine employees have successfully completed their negotiations and the mine is expected to reach normal production levels within a day or two. The terms of the new one year agreement are consistent with others reached in the Bolivian mining industry this year.
