WHAT: Seminar on Demographic, Economic
and Investment Perspectives for Canada

The Office of the Chief Actuary of Canada will be hosting a one day
seminar on March 24th in Ottawa to discuss demographic, economic and
investment perspectives prior to setting the assumptions that will be
used in the Actuarial Report on the Canada Pension Plan (CPP).

The event will feature several renowned experts from Canada, the U.S.

The Office of the Chief Actuary operates independently within the
Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions and provides
actuarial services for various key government plans and programs such
as the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, Canada Student Loans
Program and pension and benefit plans that cover public servants,
members of Parliament, RCMP among other groups.
