"How Low Can You Go?" Social Media Campaign Invites People to Imagine a Sustainable Future and Show Off Their Best Tips for Living a Greener Lifestyle

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - November 19, 2008) - Greenbuild International Conference and Expo Booth 416 -- North American lighting leader OSRAM SYLVANIA and Greenwala, the green social network, today launched an online competition at www.greenwala.com/campaigns to find the greenest people in the United States. To celebrate the introduction of Greenwala.com and OSRAM SYLVANIA's sustainability commitment, the campaign invites entrants to submit a video or photo and description that details their actions to go green. One grand-prize winner chosen from all entries will win a trip for two to Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom and $500 spending cash. Greenwala also will plant 100 trees via its Treewala vocabulary game to help offset carbon emissions from the trip.
