OSSTF/FEESO Welcomes Appointment of New Ministers

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - June 13, 2016) - The Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation (OSSTF/FEESO), representing secondary school teachers as well as support staff in Ontario's elementary, secondary and post-secondary systems, welcomes today's appointment of Mitzie Hunter as Minister of Education and Deb Matthews as Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Development.

"On behalf of our 60,000 members, I want to congratulate and welcome Ms. Hunter and Ms. Matthews to their new portfolios. We look forward to building and maintaining a positive and cooperative relationship with both ministers, and to working together in our ongoing efforts to protect and enhance publicly funded education in Ontario," said OSSTF/FEESO President Paul Elliott.
