The O.T. Mining Corporation Plans Aggressive 2007 Drill Program on Its Porphyry Copper-Molybdenum Zone

MONTREAL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 19, 2006 -- The O.T. Mining Corporation (PINKSHEETS: OTMN) announces plans to commence its aggressive drill program on its North Anomaly Area porphyry copper-molybdenum zone of mineralization in 2007. The North Anomaly Area forms part of O.T.'s 21.3-square-mile Ruby Property situated in Jefferson County, southwestern Montana. The drilling start-up date is expected to be in early June and targets will be based upon results of geophysical and geochemical surveys.

O.T. intersected porphyry copper-molybdenum mineralization over a vertical distance of 2,448 feet in 2004 and subsequent to additional geophysical and geochemical surveys has defined an interpreted mineralised system of at least 15,000 by 8,000 feet in plan. The geophysical and geochemical responses have distinct similarities to the Main Stage veins at Butte including an east-west orientation and structural fabric (classic wrench fault geometrics). Main Stage Veins between 1880 and 1974 contributed to 80% of the wealth produced from "The Richest Hill on Earth," some producing up to 40% copper. This makes the IP anomaly a particularly attractive exploration target for high-grade Main Stage-type veins. O.T.'s drilling to date indicates copper mineralization and accompanying potassic alteration with phyllic overprint that is pervasive throughout the system. The IP anomaly defined by Matrix GeoTechnologies (Toronto) occurs north of three holes drilled by O.T. in 2004-2005. Copper and molybdenum grades increase in these holes from south to north as the anomaly is approached.

Based on preliminary data received to date, O.T. has identified up to 18 drill targets for their 2007 program. Permitting of drill sites is currently underway and is being overseen by Dr. Fess Foster, Environmental and Permitting Officer, and Mr. Tom Weitz, O.T.'s Project Manager.

O.T.'s third party advisor and evaluator, Watts, Griffis & McOuat Ltd., has delivered an in-depth technical and recommendations report dated November 27, 2006 that is compliant with National Instrument 43-101.
