VERONA, NJ--(Marketwire - January 11, 2011) - O'Toole Fernandez Weiner Van Lieu, LLC (OFWV) is pleased to announce that the Supreme Court of New Jersey's Board of Continuing Legal Education has approved and accredited two courses to be taught and delivered by members of the OFWV Legal Team for New Jersey CLE Credits.

Both "Asbestos: Trends, Litigation, Claims Handling" (NJ CLE Credit 2.00) and "Legal Crises: Preparing & Dealing with the Unexpected" (NJ CLE Credit 2.00) have been approved for 2 CLE credits each.

"Asbestos: Trends, Litigation, Claims Handling" will provide critical information pertaining to the defense of claims of asbestos exposure involving issues of product identification, failure to ward, medical causation and presentation of cross claims. The course will be taught by OFWV Managing Partner Kevin J. O'Toole and OFWV Of-Counsel Attorney and insurance expert Anthony R. Slimowicz and Partner Steven Weiner.

"Legal Crises: Preparing & Dealing with the Unexpected" will address issues including research/investigations; crisis communication, dealing with the media and public presentation; risk mitigation and risk management. This course will be taught by Kevin O'Toole, Anthony R. Slimowicz and Matt Eventoff (Princeton Public Speaking).
