Ottawa Senators Announce Changes to Pre-Season Schedule

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 19, 2007) - The Ottawa Senators announced today they have added a seventh game to their 2007-08 pre-season schedule. On Monday, Sept. 24, the Senators will travel to the Air Canada Centre in Toronto to face the Maple Leafs at 7:30 p.m. The Senators and Maple Leafs will open the 2007-08 regular season with a home-and-home series taking place on Oct. 3 in Toronto before returning to Ottawa for the Senators home opener on Thursday, Oct. 4.

The Senators and Montreal Canadiens have also exchanged the dates of their pre-season home games. Ottawa will now play in Montreal at the Bell Centre on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m., and Montreal will play at Scotiabank Place on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m.

In addition to the pre-season changes, the Senators have announced a game time change to their 2007-08 regular season schedule. Ottawa's home game against Washington on Dec. 29, originally scheduled for 3 p.m., has been rescheduled to a 7 p.m. start.

Tuesday, Sept. 18 - Ottawa vs. Philadelphia in London, Ont., at 7 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 20 - Ottawa vs. Washington at Scotiabank Place at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 22 - Ottawa vs. Montreal at the Bell Centre at 7 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 24 - Ottawa vs. Toronto at the Air Canada Centre at 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 25 - Ottawa vs. Philadelphia at Scotiabank Place at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 29 - Ottawa vs. Montreal at Scotiabank Place at 7 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 30 - Ottawa vs. Washington at the Verizon Center at 5 p.m.
