Ottawa Senators Return to the Big Screen in High Definition at Select Cineplex Entertainment Theatres

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 14, 2007) - The Ottawa Senators and Cineplex Entertainment theatres announced today that Senators fans have another reason to cheer as they are invited back to watch live broadcasts of larger-than-life hockey games in high definition on wall-to-wall screens at three participating theatre locations in the Ottawa area, as well as one each in Brockville, Cornwall and Kingston.

Beginning Nov. 22, fans can watch fives games that are not available on regular television, making this a unique opportunity for families and friends to see the games on giant wall-to-wall curved screens in surround sound and, for the first time, in high definition.

"Showing Ottawa Senators hockey on our giant screens is the next best thing to being there," says Pat Marshall, vice-president, communications and investor relations for Cineplex Entertainment. "Senators fans and families love these games, and this year we've made it even easier to enjoy with the opportunity to purchase tickets in three- and five-packs."

Advance tickets are available beginning Friday, Nov. 16, online at as well as at participating theatre box offices. Admission for children ages 3 to 12 years old is $8.95 and general admission $10.95. New this year, guests can also purchase tickets to any three games for $31.20 or all five games for $49.25, making this a great gift idea for the holiday season. Prices do not include applicable taxes.

"We're very pleased to welcome Cineplex back for another season of SensTV," said Jim Steel, the Senators' vice-president of broadcast. "We are excited to be able to offer our fans another means to watch and enjoy the games."
