Ottawa Start-Up Retailer terra20 Opens Third Ottawa Store in Four Years

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 17, 2016) - On June 18, 2016, terra20 will be celebrating the grand opening of its third location in Ottawa, a pop-up store in the Rideau Centre. A pioneer in eco-department store retailing, terra20 works closely with its vendors and customers to source healthy and sustainable products.

Growing evident shows that Ottawa residents (and Canadians) are becoming more concerned about their health, and specifically, what they are putting in and on their bodies. Yet, figuring out what is healthy isn't easy. The recently published report from the Office of the Auditor General says that Health Canada does not properly assess the risk of ingredients in consumer goods and cosmetics.

"We make it easy for customers to find healthy products by doing the homework for them," says terra20 president and co-founder Bill Stewart. The third store, which is a pop-up, focuses on personal care, skin care, cleaning, seasonal items and unique gifts, based on the most popular items from the other two locations.

The grand opening festivities which run from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm will include:

• a 20% discount on all regularly priced items
• A gift with purchase for the first one hundred customers
