Outbrain Hires Avi Zimak as National Sales Director in Response to Strong Demand for Content Discovery Solutions

Zimak Brings Seasoned Publisher Experience to New Role as Head of Outbrain's Growing Sales Team

With over 15 years of advertising sales experience at leading publishers including Hearst, Condé Nast and Ziff-Davis, Zimak will play a key strategic role at Outbrain, leading the national publisher sales team. Zimak's hire comes in response to rising demand for Outbrain's technology, which helps publishers, brands and agencies get their content discovered by an audience of highly engaged readers. 

Zimak brings deep experience growing revenue and managing sales teams for leading media companies. He most recently served as advertising director for Hearst Tablet Media, where he oversaw all aspects of tablet media advertising and marketing sales for Hearst's 20 domestic magazine brands. Prior to that, he served as advertising manager for Town & Country where he helped oversee 20 employees responsible for millions in annual advertising sales revenue. Zimak has also held sales director positions at Gourmet Magazine and Details Magazine.
