Outdoor Council Meeting Showcases Mississauga's New Public Square


MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 16, 2011) - A unique outdoor Council Meeting will feature Mississauga Celebration Square, the City's new state-of-the-art event destination. Deputations and presentations will showcase the versatile venue, which opens for business on June 22.

Water Ceremony featuring Mississaugans Barbara Underhill, World Champion figure skater, and Lisa Alexander, Olympic Medallist in synchronized swimming.

The official public opening of Mississauga Celebration Square will take place at the Canada Day ceremony scheduled at 1 p.m. from the main stage on Friday, July 1.
