LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - July 14, 2008) - Ovation TV, the only network devoted exclusively to art, culture and personal creativity, will launch a weekly original music series featuring some of the hottest bands and artists touring the U.S. this summer. The one-hour "Bonefish Grill's NOTES FROM THE ROAD" will premiere Thursday, August 7 (8-9 p.m. ET/PT) with a show featuring live performances and candid conversations with one of today's most popular bands, The Bravery ("Believe").

"Bonefish Grill's NOTES FROM THE ROAD," presented by ABSOLUT® Vodka, features intimate performances by artists who are on tour appearing at much bigger venues. The series also gives viewers a rare glimpse of life on the road for the musicians, with behind-the-scenes footage and candid conversations. Each hour-long episode is shot on location at a Bonefish Grill location and is imprinted with the guest artist's personality, viewpoint, experiences and music.

Other scheduled artists in upcoming episodes include: 3 Doors Down, Josh Kelley, Gavin DeGraw, Vanessa Carlton, Ben Folds, Jason Mraz and Matisyahu.

Beginning in September, XM Radio will broadcast each episode of "Bonefish Grill's NOTES FROM THE ROAD" on a variety of its music channels, including Flight 26 (XM 26), Ethel (XM 47) and Starbucks XM Café (XM 45).

Since their debut album was released in 2005, the modern rock New York band The Bravery has been winning fans both in the U.K. and the U.S. Three albums later and with a growing fan base garnered from their near constant touring schedule, The Bravery has a major music hit on their hands with the single "Believe" getting extensive radio airplay and charting higher than any other record they've released to-date.

"This exciting music series is a perfect match with our creative mission for Ovation TV," said Kris Slava, Senior Vice President, Programming and Production, Ovation TV. "It exemplifies our overall commitment to showcasing great artists, their lives and their work, in an intimate, insightful, accessible and highly entertaining manner. We're very pleased with the creative and personal depth of 'Bonefish Grill's NOTES FROM THE ROAD' and are thrilled to present it to Ovation TV viewers."

The series will also include a weekly vignette dedicated to the Ocean Trust, an award-winning ocean conservation foundation that is building science, conservation and industry partnerships for the sustainability of the oceans and providing a link to sustainable fisheries, wildlife and the environment.

"Music has always been an essential part of the atmosphere at our restaurants," said John Cooper, President of Bonefish Grill. "So it was natural for us host this concert series. But the real thrill is bringing our love of music and great food together with our commitment to Ocean Trust. It feels good to put our passions to work for such a worthy cause."

Veteran music television producer Larry Klein is executive producing "Bonefish Grill's NOTES FROM THE ROAD." Klein is a 30-year veteran of music television production and current longtime producer of ABC-TV's "American Music Awards" and "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" for dick clark productions. He also produced NBC-TV's "Tsunami Relief" music special.

"Bonefish Grill's NOTES FROM THE ROAD" is an Elevation Group Production. Denny Young, Elevation's President and a veteran producer of live concerts and special events, serves as Executive Producer. Klein and Young are joined by Supervising Producer Danny Harris (NBC-TV's "Tsunami Relief," CBS-TV's "Fashion Rocks" and MTV's "Music in High Places").

Bonefish Grill, the television sponsor of "Bonefish Grill's NOTES FROM THE ROAD," operates restaurants around the U.S. and is recognized for their unique polished-casual settings, big-city bar atmosphere and high-quality, high-value fresh fish. Each episode of the series will be taped at a different Bonefish Grill location, as dictated by the routing of the guest artist's tour.
