Over 100 Data Sources Nominated for "onPanjiva" Program in First Six Weeks

"onPanjiva" Program Will Continue to Provide a Channel for Global Data Sources to Publish Info; Applications Will Be Reviewed in Quarterly Rounds

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 3, 2009) - Earlier today, Panjiva, the leading source of objective information on global suppliers, provided an update about its recently launched "onPanjiva" program. In the first six weeks of the program, 111 organizations were nominated for inclusion onPanjiva, and 23 of these organizations have already applied to publish data onPanjiva. At the beginning of October, Panjiva will announce which data sources have been selected for fourth quarter 2009 integration into the Panjiva intelligence platform.

onPanjiva Round 1 nominations came from several sources: Panjiva clients, industry experts, and data providers themselves. Panjiva CEO Josh Green noted, "Through the onPanjiva program, we were introduced to an incredibly wide variety of data providers -- organizations across different industries, of different sizes, and with different types of information."

Through the onPanjiva program, organizations with information about global suppliers -- e.g., certification organizations, government agencies, credit bureaus -- can apply to publish this information via Panjiva Search, the most comprehensive search engine for global trade.

onPanjiva is part of Panjiva's broader strategy to continually build its data sources as a means of providing clients with the robust information they need to make strategic supply chain decisions. According to Panjiva CTO James Psota, "Our technology platform has been optimized to support multiple data sources; now the onPanjiva program gives us the ability to identify the data sources that are important to our clients and move quickly to give our clients access to these data sources."

Also today, Panjiva announced that the onPanjiva program will continue on a regular cycle, with applications to be reviewed in quarterly rounds. Between now and Nov. 15, global businesses can nominate information providers they would like to see onPanjiva during the first quarter of 2010 -- as part of onPanjiva Round 2. The first company to nominate an information provider that ultimately publishes its information onPanjiva will receive one-year's worth of free access to information from this provider. Information providers can also nominate themselves for inclusion onPanjiva.

In recent months, Panjiva announced that information from several affiliates would be available on Panjiva Search, including certification information from SAI and WRAP, global trade "red flag" information from deKieffer & Horgan and credit information from Sinosure. The onPanjiva program is emblematic of Panjiva's belief that connecting companies with information is the key to transforming global trade.
