Over $1.2 Billion in New Chemical Project Activity Identified During July in North America, an Industrial Info News Alert

SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - August 8, 2008) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- Project activity for the Chemical Processing Industry (CPI) began the second half of 2008 with good momentum in July with more than $1.2 billion in new project activity identified as part of Industrial Info's North American Project Database. The North American CPI has continued to perform strongly this year despite significant increases in operating costs related to transportation, energy and higher feedstock prices.
