NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 2, 2010) - Information Builders, an independent leader in business intelligence (BI) solutions, today announced that Oxford Properties Group has standardized on WebFOCUS to provide more advanced analysis and reporting capabilities. The commercial real estate company is tapping the platform to develop a BI solution that will encompass multiple platforms and databases, while delivering information from a data warehouse or production system.
A longtime Information Builders customer, Oxford built its Advanced Strategic Information Source (OASIS) reporting application using the WebFOCUS reporting platform. OASIS features a customer-facing portal with comprehensive information, providing Oxford's internal users and external clients with real-time access and reports on tenant history, accounts receivable, historic property information, as well as legal and financial data.
Oxford is developing a portal that will phase out the former menu-based reporting system. With the new system, users will be able to access content according to their role and level of access within the organization. For example, a director viewing the dashboard will have access to property information grouped by reporting region while an accounts receivable clerk will view only tenant names and details when logged into the portal.
