Ozonator Industries Ltd.: Canadian Company Receives Approval From International Agency for New Bio-Hazardous Waste Treatment Technology That Can Help Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions

REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN--(CCNMatthews - April 24, 2007) - Ozonator Industries Ltd., the Canadian manufacturer of a revolutionary new process for the sterilization of bio-hazardous waste with zero emissions, announced today that after an extensive review, the international agency Health Care Without Harm (HCWH) has approved their technology for the sterilization of bio-hazardous waste.

In making the announcement, Ozonator Industries Ltd. President and CEO Peter Klaptchuk stated "This is another huge step forward for us at Ozonator Industries Ltd. Health Care Without Harm is the preeminent organization when it comes to environmentally friendly health-care practices. This notification that our OZONATOR technology will now be on the list of accepted technologies in 52 countries around the world opens the door to a global market for us and helps us to begin to use our technology to address environmental concerns that are global in nature."

In their statement of approval, HCWH representative Karl Krupp stated, "Like the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), we believe that ozone treatment (as used by Ozonator Industries) has the potential to achieve higher levels of disinfection than more traditional non-burn technologies like chlorine and UV treatment. Ozone treatment offers unique advantages for the treatment of this difficult waste stream while minimizing impacts to the environment." He went on to say that the process used by Ozonator Industries also offers great potential for addressing the critical issues of greenhouse gasses and dioxins and furans in the environment.

Health Care Without Harm is an international coalition of hospitals and health care systems, medical professionals, community groups, labor unions, environmental and environmental health organizations. The coalition is made up of 443 organizations in 52 countries all working to protect health by reducing pollution in the health care industry.

Ozonator Industries Ltd. is a privately held Canadian company that manufactures a revolutionary new technology for the sterilization of bio-hazardous waste. Their patent-pending technology provides complete sterilization of bio-hazardous waste with no emissions and up to a 90% reduction in volume.
