P-Cure Opens U.S. Office and Appoints COO

OR YEHUDA, ISRAEL--(Marketwire - May 11, 2011) - P-Cure has expanded its operations by opening a U.S. office in Chicago, IL and adding an experienced medical device executive, Israel Raz, to its leadership team in the role of Chief Operating Officer. P-Cure's innovative approach to proton therapy offers significant clinical, economic and operational benefits that facilitate the adoption of this treatment for routine clinical practice.

Mr. Raz joins P-Cure from Given Imaging, where he served as Senior VP, Chief Marketing Officer. He has more than 20 years of experience in strategic marketing, business development, and global commercialization of innovative medical devices in a wide variety of imaging technologies and medical specialties, and with companies ranging from a startup venture to GE Healthcare, where he served as the GM Global Marketing for Molecular Imaging. His industry tenure was preceded by academic research and teaching.
