PAAC Launches New Careers Website-PAAC CareerSite

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 21, 2005) - The Public Affairs
Association of Canada has launched a new service on its website
( to provide employers and career seekers with an
electronic recruitment tool specifically for the public affairs
industry. PAAC has teamed up with BrainHunter Inc. to provide this
valuable new service.

"PAAC has established its CareerSite to optimize opportunities for good
employment, connecting the best public affairs jobs with the best public
affairs professionals," says Chris Benedetti, PAAC President. "The
service is available to both members and non-members of PAAC - but of
course we encourage non-members to acquaint themselves with the range of
PAAC services when they check out the CareerSite."

The PAAC CareerSite offers a cost effective method for employee
recruitment where employers normally pay a small fee to post jobs and
job seekers submit their resumes at no cost. However, to mark the
launch, employers can post at no charge until June 14, 2005.

The PAAC CareerSite is designed to help employers solve their staffing
needs and assist employees seeking new opportunities. Employers will be
provided with a secure job posting tool that allows them to post, edit
and delete jobs as well as screen candidates against specific
qualifications while career seekers will be able to investigate new
career opportunities and receive electronic follow up when a new posting
fits their criteria.

For employers, the applicant tracking software enables candidates
applying for jobs to automatically be sorted into "A-lists" and
"B-lists" depending on their qualifications and the position
description. Employers can also search the resume database specifically
focused on candidates in public affairs.

Both employers and career seekers will have complete control over the
confidentiality of their information and are able to undertake
customized job searches.
