Pacific Safety Products Inc. Announces Advance Order From Canadian Government

KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 4, 2006) - Pacific Safety Products Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PSP) ("PSP" or "the Company") today announced the receipt of an advance order from the Canadian Department of National Defence for enhancements to the Company's Fragmentation Protection Vests.

"This opportunity is estimated to be potentially worth $4-$5 million over the next twelve months based on a full deployment. PSP has worked closely with the customer to develop this product upgrade," stated CEO David Scott.

The company also announced initial orders have been received from BC Hydro and Calfrac Well Services Ltd. for ballistic blankets to protect infrastructure and personnel against blast effects during operations.

"The company believes this developing market could provide an additional $3 million of annual sales in calendar year 2007," added D. Scott.

The total value for the initial orders announced today is approximately $500,000.
