Pacific Safety Products Inc. Announces Appointment of Executive Vice President, US Operations

KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 19, 2005) - Pacific Safety Products Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PSP) ("PSP" or "the Company") announced today that Cynthia Mooney has been appointed as Executive Vice President, US Operations.

Ms. Mooney joined PSP as Director of Sales, US Federal law Enforcement and Military in March 2005, based out of Jacksonville, Florida. She has a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Design and a Masters of Science in Textiles as well as a Program Management/Product Development certificate from Defense Systems Management College. She has worked in the military apparel and armor industry for over 19 years and prior to being hired at PSP held the position of Director of Government/Military Programs and Sales with Armor Holdings Inc., one of the largest armor manufacturers in the US.
