Pacific Safety Products Inc. Announces Changes to Board of Directors

KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 4, 2007) - Pacific Safety Products Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PSP) ("PSP" or "the Company") announced today changes to the composition of the Board of Directors effective September 1, 2007.

John R. Brodie, FCA, will assume the role of Chairman of PSP. David Scott will remain a Director and CEO but has relinquished the post as Chairman to ensure a separation of roles and to devote his time exclusively to the CEO role. John R. Brodie has been Chair of the Company's Audit Committee for the last 2 years and previously has had a distinguished career with KPMG as a Senior Partner. Replacing Mr. Brodie as Chair of the Audit Committee is Martin Carsky who joins the Board as of September 1, 2007.

Mr. Carsky is the Executive Vice President of Anthem Capital Corp., the private investment arm of the Anthem group of companies. Previously, he was the CEO of Cryopak Industries Inc. and has acted as a consultant on restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and divestitures for a number of Vancouver-based publicly traded companies. He also serves as a Director and the Chair of the Audit and Governance Committee for Metrobridge Networks International Inc., is a Director and the CEO of Anthem Ventures Capital Corp., and is a Director and CFO of Kruger Capital Corp. Mr. Carsky has an undergraduate degree in Science and is a Chartered Accountant.
