Pacific Sands Adds Powder Product Filling Facility
New Facility Increases Powdered Laundry and Cleaning Product Filling Capacity to an Estimated $200,000+ per Week

RACINE, WI--(Marketwire - July 17, 2008) - Pacific Sands, Inc. (OTCBB : PFSD ), developer and
manufacturer of the OXY-Boost™ brand of cleaning and laundry powders as
well as an extensive portfolio of nontoxic and 'low-chem,' environmentally
friendly cleaning and water management solutions, announced today that the
company has installed a high speed powder mixing and filling line.
An initial test run filling the company's best-selling OXY-Boost product
demonstrated the line capable of consistently producing 5,280 units of
product per work shift or approximately $210,000 in retail product per
single shift work week. Management estimates that a recent private label
order of its chlorine free OXY-Boost Deck and House Wash which took three
employees seven work days to fill will, for future orders, take two
employees less than a single work day.

orders 'in-house' dramatically enhances our competitive advantage in the
earth, health and kid-friendly consumer products market on a number of

Wynhoff added that the company has now achieved its goal of manufacturing
independence and is now able to produce the bulk of its portfolio of more
than 150 SKUs and private label products entirely in-house.
