Palisades Petroleum Corporation: Negotiations in Progress to Acquire Mexican Mining Claims

RENO, NEVADA--(Marketwire - April 7, 2009) - Palisades Petroleum Corporation (PINK SHEETS:PAPT)(FRANKFURT:3X2) is pleased to announce that management of the company is engaged in negotiations with Exploracione Mocuzarit S.A. de C.V, to option the strategic mining claims the Mexican Company holds in the municipality of Alamos, Sonora, Mexico.

The Alamos area mining district is known for its multi-metallic mining properties containing vast amounts of minerals including gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, graphite and tungsten. The highly productive mines of Frontera Copper and Pan American Silver are located in the vicinity.
