Palladon Intersects 6.7% Copper and 41.40 Ounces per Tonne Silver over 2m on Western Utah Copper Project

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 30, 2006) - Palladon Ventures Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:PLL)(FWB:PV1) and joint venture partner Western Utah Copper Company ("WUCC") are pleased to announce assay results from a recent drill hole that has intersected new high-grade copper and silver mineralization in the Milford Mineral Belt, southwestern Utah.

Assay results from BCC1, drilled to a depth of 440m, encountered a 2m interval of 6.7% Cu and 41.40 oz/t Ag, followed by a 3m interval of 1.7% Cu in chalcopyrite and 13.4 oz/t Ag, at a depth of 218-223m. This intercept was drilled near the historical Beaver carbonate mine, approximately 20 km northwest of Milford, Utah, in an area known for historic recovery of lead, zinc, and silver. Additional assays from BCC1 are pending Five additional holes are planned in this immediate vicinity.

Qualified Person: Dr. Roger C. Steininger, Ph.D., (SEG 1978) has acted as the qualified person as defined in National Instrument 43-101 for this disclosure and supervised the preparation of the technical information in this release. Dr. Steininger has over 35 years experience in the Great Basin region. He is a member of AIPG and several other professional organizations and holds a Ph.D. from Colorado State University. Dr. Steininger acts as an independent consultant to Palladon Ventures Ltd. and does not hold a financial interest in the company.
