Panasonic Improves the View at California Speedway

VIP Suites to Be Updated With Panasonic VIERA® Plasma and LCD HDTV's; Panasonic's "Living in High Definition" Truck Tour to Stop at Speedway

UNIVERSAL CITY, CA--(Marketwire - February 20, 2008) - Panasonic, a leader in High Definition flat panel TV's, has partnered with California Speedway to upgrade all 91 of the Speedway's VIP suites with state-of-the-art Panasonic VIERA® Plasma and LCD HDTV's. The announcement was made today by Joe Taylor, COO of Panasonic.

The newly upgraded VIP suites will debut during the NASCAR West Coast Premiere the weekend of February 22 - 24th at the California Speedway, culminating on Sunday with the Auto Club 500.

Panasonic's "Living in High Definition" consumer education truck, bringing race fans a hands-on consumer experience with its suite of High Definition products including Panasonic's industry-leading line of 1080p VIERA HDTV's, Blu-ray Disc players, home theater systems, HD camcorders and LUMIX digital cameras, will be on site the entire weekend in the FanZone, featuring the spectacular 103" Panasonic VIERA Plasma display for the ultimate in sports viewing.
