Panda Express' SweetFire Chicken Breast™ to Debut Nationwide

Newest Entrée Set to Join World Famous Orange Chicken as Customer Favorite

ROSEMEAD, CA--(Marketwire - September 9, 2009) - Panda Express, the nation's leader in Asian dining experiences, announces the launch of its sweetest creation to date. SweetFire Chicken Breast™ will debut at all Panda Express restaurants on September 23, 2009.

SweetFire Chicken Breast™ starts with crispy, all white meat chicken, diced red bell peppers, sliced onions, and juicy pineapples all tossed in a sizzling hot wok with a sweet and fiery sauce.

"We are excited to share the exotic fusion of flavors that SweetFire Chicken Breast™ will provide our guests. If you are a fan of our famous Orange Chicken or Beijing Beef, you are going to love this dish!" said Glenn Lunde, Panda Express Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.

As with all new entrees for Panda Express, SweetFire Chicken Breast™ was created by Executive Chef Andy Kao, who has been with Panda Restaurant Group for over 25 years. During his recent travels to Thailand, Chef Andy was inspired by the aromatic sweet chili sauces famous in the region.

To commemorate the launch of SweetFire Chicken Breast™, the City of Los Angeles will declare "Panda Express Day" on September 25, 2009. In addition, a free sampling event will be hosted at a Panda Express mobile unit in Los Angeles, Calif. The exact location will be announced on Facebook and Twitter 24 hours prior to the event. Panda Express aficionados are encouraged to sign up, become a fan and follower for more details.
