(www.pandora.com), the premier provider of personalized radio service online, today announced the hire of David DeRobbio as regional vice president of sales for the east coast. The new position adds to the Pandora sales staff infrastructure and reflects the growing interest among companies to engage interactive media to market their major national brands.

"Dave's knowledge of the agency landscape in New York, as well as his experience at MSN and AOL, make him the ideal person to frame the opportunities to market major national brands to Pandora's substantial and influential user base."

"Joining Pandora is like the perfect culmination of my career experiences and personal hobbies. I'm an avid music fan, play the guitar and love the ad business, especially as it's become so multi-faceted with interactive media platforms in the mix," said DeRobbio. "I look forward to working with New York-based agencies and the entire east coast to develop advertising strategies that optimally position their products and services."

Prior to Pandora, DeRobbio spent the last ten years in digital media, beginning in 1998 when he was hired as an account manager at AOL. In 2002, he left AOL to take a sales position with Microsoft where over the course of five years, he managed a variety of MSN sales teams. Before his AOL and Microsoft stints, DeRobbio spent four years in account management working for leading agencies such as McCann Erickson and Foote Cone & Belding on major brands that ranged from Nabisco to Johnson & Johnson.
