Panel to Discuss Conversion From Co-Op to Condominium

FORT LEE, NJ--(Marketwired - November 12, 2015) - As many cooperatives that have converted to condominiums in last several years have discovered, conversion has its obvious advantages but requires the right mix of professionals, planning and unavoidable costs. But many of the co-op boards of directors still thinking about converting are being told that it's not feasible or it costs too much.

"The truth is that with the team and the proper planning, converting from a co-op to a condominium can be affordable and a great benefit to unit owners in a co-op," says Jack Boyajian of the Hutton Group, the recognized specialist for co-op to condo conversion. The Hutton Group has managed the conversion of thousands of co-op units to condos across the nation for the past 25 years, many of them in northern New Jersey.

Co-op Board members and their representatives can learn about how, why and where these conversions happened by attending a free co-op to condo conversion information meeting and panel discussion on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the DoubleTree Hotel in Fort Lee, New Jersey.

The guest panelists and attendees will include team members of The Hutton Group, professionals in Fannie Mae and HUD approvals, the president and attorney of a recent co-op to condo conversion in the Bergen/Hudson county area and members of the real estate marketing community. The presentation and discussions will focus the advantages and costs of converting a co-op to a condominium, the pitfalls to avoid and what to expect in increased unit values and financing options after conversion.

"This is a great opportunity to get free advice in an informal setting. The panel discussion will cover real issues about the conversion process and give those attending a chance to ask questions and get solid answers about converting to a condominium," said Jack Boyajian.

All co-op board members and their representatives are invited to attend including committee members, managing agents, attorneys and accountants. You can pre-register by calling 1-800-655-8721 or visiting
