Pannaway Technologies Broadens Its Partnerships to Provide Complete System Solution for CALEA

PORTSMOUTH, NH -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 4, 2007 -- Pannaway Technologies, Inc., designers and developers of next-generation, converged IP broadband systems to telecommunications companies, announced today that it has formed a partnership with Intelleq Communications. Intelleq Communications is a full service provider of lawful intercept solutions, including capture, mediation, and collection functions. By combining Pannaway's Transport and Access technology with Intelleq's CALEA compliance services, customers will be provided an affordable and reliable CALEA solution prior to the May 14th, 2007 US Government deadline. The combined Pannaway and Intelleq solution helps ILECs save money by hosting a remote service that allows Telcos to maintain CALEA compliance and stay focused on their primary revenue generating businesses as the distraction and expense to research, purchase, deploy and maintain an in-house system can be significant.

"We are pleased to partner with Pannaway Technologies because of their strong presence in the rural telephone market," says Marty Schell, General Manager for Intelleq. "This partnership will help Pannaway customers seamlessly maintain CALEA compliance while they grow market share with converged triple play services. We look forward to working with Pannaway to provide a robust CALEA solution."

"Pannaway is focused on bringing complete solutions to market that will benefit our customers' business," said Kevin Brown, Vice President of Marketing, Pannaway Technologies. "We are excited to join forces with Intelleq to bring their expertise as well as the meditation service needed to be fully compliant. Combining those qualities with Pannaway's feature rich products provides a winning combination."

Government regulators around the world are expanding lawful intercept laws to include next-generation communications based on IP technology, including VoIP and broadband. In the United States the FCC has mandated that all Service Providers must be CALEA compliant by May 14, 2007. Telcos who are interested in learning more about this solution should contact their Pannaway Technologies or Intelleq local rep.
