Pano Logic Wins ITEXPO Best-of-Show Award

Desktop Virtualization Infrastructure (VDI) Solution Honored for Innovation

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 22, 2011) - Pano Logic, the leader in zero client desktop virtualization, today announced that the company's virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solution won "Best-of-Show" at ITEXPO West 2011 in Austin, Texas. Pano Logic was the only vendor to win in the "Best Large Enterprise Solution" category.

The Pano System is the only true zero client desktop virtualization solution in the market. Its solid-state device has no processor, no storage, no memory and no operating system. As a result, it completely eliminates endpoint management, fully enabling the benefits of centralized management with a cloud-ready device. Pano Logic zero client devices also consume 97 percent less power than PCs, and do not store data locally, fully eliminating endpoint security breaches.

"Pano Logic's innovative approach to desktop virtualization has transformed the way IT manage endpoint computing in a virtual environment. As compared to PC computing, Pano Logic end users experience no difference in performance, while IT lowers overall management costs by at least 76 percent," said John Kish, president and CEO, Pano Logic. "The ITEXPO West 'Best-of-Show' award further validates Pano Logic's radical centralization of endpoint computing."

Pano Logic recently announced Pano Express SMB and Pano Express HA, one-step VDI solutions that make it simple to deploy virtual desktops with a range of pre-configured software on server and storage infrastructure.

"Our event in Austin has raised the bar in every conceivable way -- from conference content, to attendee count, and for the quality and breadth of the products and solutions that are showcased on our Exhibit Hall floor," said Rich Tehrani, TMC CEO and conference chairman. "We're pleased to honor Pano Logic with a 'Best-of-Show' award, and we congratulate them for standing out amongst a large and highly competitive field."

The ITEXPO "Best-of-Show" awards recognize innovative products and solutions. This designation serves to highlight the technological achievement and creative product features that set these winners apart from the rest of the crowd.

A full list of the winners is posted on TMC's website at http://www.tmcnet.com. The next ITEXPO event is scheduled to take place in Miami, FL, February 1-3, 2012.
