Panorama Software Expands into Asia Pacific Market

Business Intelligence Leader Enhances Global Operations with Significant Client Wins and Strategic Partnerships

Panorama Software, a global leader in business intelligence (BI) solutions for the Microsoft platform, today announced further expansion of the company's Asia Pacific operations. The expansion includes establishing strategic partnerships and broadening its client base.

Panorama created a strategic partnership with RINPAK, a leading software provider of function-rich solutions for retailers around the world, to be one of its lead distributors in this rapidly growing market. This partnership has introduced Panorama to new clients such as Versace (Hong Kong and People's Republic of China) where they will implement RINPAK's Retail Domain Knowledge and Panorama's flagship product, Panorama 4.5. This integrated solution extends Microsoft SQL Server 2005 capabilities and allows retailers such as Versace to create an automated merchandising system, track customer behavior and employee performance and provide multiple currencies, taxation, languages and multi-dimensional analysis.

In addition to Versace, Panorama also won client contracts with Siemens Shanghai, who utilize Panorama's enterprise BI solution to analyze their daily sales, human resources issues and financial issues. Panorama's partner RINPAK has also partnered with Covics who is concentrated in Short Messaging Service (SMS). In China, many enterprises are using SMS to deliver sales data back to headquarters. Panorama is collaborating with its Asian partners, to develop performance dashboards which can be viewed on cellular phones based on 3G technology.
