Paragon Pharmacies Limited Announces Appointment of Board Member

KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 25, 2008) - Paragon Pharmacies Limited ("Paragon" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:PGN) announces the appointment of Mr. Gerry Martin to its Board of Directors to fill its vacant positions. The appointment is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Mr. Martin, a pharmacist, previously owned and operated for 36 years a chain of independent drug stores in Northwestern British Columbia. Mr. Martin has served on the Board of the B.C. Pharmacy Association and is a Past President of the Chain Drug Association of B.C. Currently, Mr. Martin is co-owner of Kra-Mar Investments, President of Shames Mountain Ski Corporation, Past President of the KT Industrial Development Society and President of the Kitamaat Port Development Society. Active in his community at the local and provincial level, Mr. Martin is presently Chair of the BC Progress Board, a member of the Premier's Technology Council, a member of the Transmission Planning Advisory Committee of the BCTC and a Director of the UNBC Foundation.
