MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - Feb 10, 2014) - Paraiso Bay, the newest waterfront condo in Miami's East Edgewater neighborhood, proved its star power at the sales gallery opening. International celebrity DJ and music producer David Guetta, San Antonio Spurs star Manu Ginobili and world tennis champion Arantxa Sánchez Vicario have purchased penthouses at the luxury development by The Related Group's Jorge Pérez. The celebrities partied at the sales gallery opening, where tennis champion Venus Williams made a surprise appearance to scope the design.
David Guetta, arriving with Michael Wiesenfeld and Zelda Freud -- The Freud Group at South Beach Estates -- who represented him on the purchase of his penthouse, posed for photos with A-list brokers and fans during the event where over 1,000 guests were in attendance. "I have been following the evolution of Edgewater and the surrounding areas for a little while now as I believe this could develop into something really interesting in the years to come," said Guetta. "When I was introduced to Paraiso Bay, it confirmed the idea I had in mind of how this area should be: some sort of ideal mix between home and vacation living in the heart of Miami."
Barcelona-born World No. 1 tennis champion Arantxa Sánchez Vicario enlisted Fortune International to help find her penthouse at Paraiso Bay. Aranxta loves the amenities that Paraiso Bay will offer with tennis courts, waterfront infinity pool, beautiful gardens and Beach Club with waterfront restaurant. "My new home at Paraiso Bay will be custom designed by Arquitectonica combining two penthouses tailored to the needs of my husband, my two children and I. The parks and outdoor spaces are beautiful areas for my children to play during the day while I play tennis on the courts. After living in Brickell in a Related building, I can't wait to move to Paraiso Bay and experience this resort life style every day," says Arantxa.
The celebration ended with a musical performance by emerging talent from the National YoungArts Foundation.
The previous night, The Related Group and international designer Karim Rashid, celebrated the opening of MyBrickell, the first condo completed in the area in over seven years. Rashid designed the common spaces for the condo and at the event, surprised guests with a preview of his new album, his first foray into the music industry.
