Paramedics' union and Region of Waterloo reach tentative agreement

WATERLOO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 3, 2017) - Local 5191 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 5191) representing paramedics in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, and representatives from the region have reached a tentative agreement.

No details of the agreement will be released until it is ratified by both parties. The ratification vote for CUPE 5191 members is scheduled for Thursday, August 10.
