Parent Involvement Grants Totaling $1,000,000 Announced by National Leader in Raising Student Achievement

SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 11, 2006 -- Evans Newton Incorporated (ENI), a leading developer of customized solutions for raising student achievement, today announced a grant program to award up to $1,000,000 in instructional materials to districts nationwide. Districts that are working to improve parent involvement are invited to submit applications to receive proven, standards-based instructional resources that help parents effectively contribute to their children's academic success.

Applicants are invited to complete an on-line grant application no later than November 30, 2006, at A total of ten grant winners will receive comprehensive sets of materials for improving parent involvement and student achievement.

In announcing this grant program, ENI's CEO, Jamie Piotti, stated, "For over 30 years, districts have made us their partner in raising student achievement. We are pleased now to be giving back.
