Park Lawn Announces Results of Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 9, 2015) - Park Lawn Corporation (TSX VENTURE:PLC) (the "Company" or "Park Lawn") announced today the results of its annual and special meeting of shareholders held today in Toronto, Ontario (the "Meeting"). The Company is pleased to announce that all the resolutions put forward to shareholders were approved.

At the Meeting, shareholders elected the following nominees as directors of the Company:

  • Winz Martina Casagrande,
  • Andrew Clark,
  • Joseph Leeder,
  • Frank Mills,
  • Timothy Powers,
  • Steven Scott, and
  • John Ward.

All directors elected, with the exception of Winz Martina Casagrande, previously served on the Company's board. Each of Larry Boland and Geoffrey Whitlam, who previously served as directors of the Company, did not stand for re-election at the Meeting. Winz Martina Casagrande's appointment is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

In addition, shareholders reappointed MNP LLP as auditors of the Company and confirmed the Company's amended and restated by-law number 1 which, in addition to several clarifying and administrative changes, incorporates advance notice provisions with respect to director nominations by shareholders.
