Parlane Reports on Progress at its Big Bear Property

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 12, 2011) - Parlane Resource Corp. (TSX VENTURE:PPP) (the "Company") is pleased to report on the progress of exploration work on its Big Bear Project, Nechako Plateau, Central British Columbia.

Big Bear field crews have completed a property-wide stream sediment silt-sampling program covering all of the drainage systems on the property and have now started a significant soil-sampling program. One hundred thirty-one line kilometres will be sampled and it is anticipated that over 2,000 samples will be collected and analyzed. The lines are spaced one kilometre apart and samples will be collected every 50 metres. Geological mapping and rock sampling will continue and ground geophysical survey target areas will be identified.

The Big Bear property is located in the Omineca Mining Division, Nechako Plateau in central British Columbia. It is approximately 100 kilometres south of Vanderhoof and covers 14,366 ha. The property is situated between two mineralized systems known as the Blackwater property and the Capoose property. The Big Bear is highly prospective for the discovery of similar high-level epithermal to porphyry-related transitional mineralization.
