Parsons Announces New Defense Sector

PASADENA, CA--(Marketwire - January 10, 2011) - Parsons announced today that it has created a new sector to support the defense market within its Infrastructure & Technology group's Energy, Systems & Security Division.

The new Defense Sector will allow Parsons to better align activities of its defense and infrastructure contracts with its market-oriented organizational structure. Parsons Vice President Thomas J. Rose will head up the new sector. Mr. Rose, who has been with Parsons since January 2006, previously served as a business development manager responsible for the Installations & Environment Division's Operations and Services Sector where he successfully marketed Parsons' Sustainable Range Program Contract to multiple Army customers.

"The new sector reflects our strategic vision to grow Parsons' support to the Department of Defense beyond our traditional, core infrastructure and environmental services," said Todd Wager, Parsons Group President. "Tom has been an important part of Parsons' expansion of our services that now include the areas of training range services and related support to the 21st Century Warfighter. I congratulate Tom and look forward to supporting him."
