Parsons Appoints Hayes as Senior Vice President and Regional Development Executive for California

PASADENA, CA--(Marketwire - March 23, 2011) - Parsons is pleased to announce that Maureen C. "Mo" Hayes has been appointed Senior Vice President and Regional Development Executive for California. In her new role, Ms. Hayes will facilitate expansion in this key region. With more than 37 million people, California continues to be a prime market for infrastructure projects for Parsons.

Ms. Hayes has more than 21 years of experience in the engineering industry. She joined Parsons in 1997 and has since held a succession of positions with increasing responsibilities, working with government officials and key stakeholders in the public and private sector to enhance the corporation's participation in such marquee projects as the Alameda Corridor, Phoenix Light Rail Program Management, Reno Transportation Rail Access Corridor Design-Build, San Francisco Transbay and Downtown Extension, John Wayne Airport Program Management, SR-22 Program Management -- the first design-build project on an active California freeway -- and a host of other successful projects. Most recently, she was Parsons' Market Development Manager for its transportation group for California and Hawaii.

Ms. Hayes is active in numerous professional organizations and currently serves as a non-voting Board Member for the Association of California Cities, Orange County. She served as CELSOC's (Consulting Engineers and Land Surveyors of California, now the American Council of Engineering Companies of California aka ACEC California) Caltrans Liaison for District 7 (Los Angeles) from 2001 - 2006. In this role, Ms. Hayes was instrumental in assisting Caltrans with streamlining its process for contracting professional services. She was a founding member of the Association for California High Speed Trains and served in various capacities. She is based in Irvine, California.
