Parsons Appoints Mehula as MENA+ President

PASADENA, CA--(Marketwire - April 6, 2011) - Parsons today announced that Guy Mehula has been appointed Parsons MENA+ President. In his new role, Mr. Mehula will be responsible for providing overall leadership and promoting Parsons' core values and strategic objectives in the MENA+ region (Middle East, North Africa, and the northern Mediterranean Sea border countries). Mr. Mehula will succeed Jeffrey F. Squires who served as the founding President of the MENA+ region.

Mr. Mehula joined Parsons in January 2010, and he has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including 25 years in the United States Navy. His most recent position with Parsons was Senior Vice President, Buildings Division Manager. In this capacity, he was responsible for all global business activities within Parsons' Buildings Division, including work in the educational markets of K-12, community colleges, universities, healthcare, and municipal buildings. Prior to joining Parsons, Mr. Mehula served as the Chief Facilities Executive for the Los Angeles Unified School District and as a Captain in the US Navy Civil Engineer Corps.

Mr. Mehula is a registered professional engineer and a LEED-accredited professional. He holds a bachelor's degree in systems engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Florida. He will be based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
