Parsons Selected by National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to Provide Base Operations and Services

PASADENA, CA--(Marketwire - May 19, 2010) -  Parsons announced today that it was selected by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) to provide Base Operations Services (BOS), including facility management and operations, campus planning and engineering, logistics, transportation, environmental, occupational health and safety, and security.

Under this contract, Parsons will provide comprehensive facilities and logistics support for NGA's state-of-the-art facility in Springfield, VA. The facility, known as the NGA Campus East (NCE), is currently under construction and comprises 2.4 million ft2. Once complete, NCE will provide a new home for NGA and approximately 8,500 of its employees. Parsons will also assume responsibility for existing facilities at Bethesda, MD, and the Washington Navy Yard, DC.
