SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 15, 2014) - Parties That Cook, the Bay Area based mobile culinary events company, today announced they are moving into the former Tante Marie's Cooking School space. Local culinary legend Mary Risley has passed her keys on to longtime alum Bibby Gignilliat for a permanent San Francisco venue location of Parties That Cook. Known for their mobile corporate team building and group cooking classes, Parties That Cook will continue to offer events across multiple Bay Area locations, but soon will also have a permanent venue in San Francisco for greater flexibility and broader event offerings.

Tante Marie's Cooking School in North Beach will shut on October 1st for minor remodeling and repairs, and will open later this fall as Parties That Cook. Information on opening timing and to follow the latest construction updates, follow@partiesthatcook.com

Featuring innovative group cooking classes that inspire teamwork, camaraderie and collaboration, more than 100,000 people have participated in events since inception. The move into the Tante Marie's building will allow Parties That Cook to have a San Francisco permanent location for events and cooking classes, in addition to operating their mobile events throughout the Bay Area.

"My business is a direct offshoot of what I learned in Tante Marie's professional training and I was also a teacher there for three years," said Bibby Gignilliat, Founder/CEO of Parties That Cook. "Mary is my mentor and when she called and offered me the keys to her space I was thrilled with the chance to take over the venue. The romantic look and feel of the building is filled with great karma from the culinary legends that have walked through her door. I'm very excited and honored for Parties That Cook to carry on the tradition at Tante Marie's."
